Oct 28, 05:00 UTC
Scheduled - As part of our commitment to building a future-facing network, Imperva recently launched our Next Generation Architecture in the SNA Los Angeles, CA PoP with improved capacity, connectivity, and services. This PoP is replacing our currently operational PoP in LAX – Los Angeles, CA. Imperva will be migrating all services and customer traffic from our LAX PoP to our SNA PoP, and decommissioning our LAX PoP during a scheduled maintenance window which will begin at 28/Oct/25 05:00 AM UTC, completing by 28/Oct/25 15:00 PM UTC.

For Cloud WAF customers, Imperva will reroute traffic to an unaffected PoP in the region for the duration of the maintenance, with no expected interruption to Cloud WAF services. At the end of the maintenance, traffic will be serviced by the new PoP.

DDoS Protection for Networks customers must ensure that the advertisement of their ranges via an alternate connection such as GRE tunnels or Cross-Connects is in place prior to the start of maintenance to avoid interruption of service. At the end of the maintenance, DDoS Protection traffic will be serviced by the new PoP. If Performance Monitoring is enabled on the connections, you will notice a change in the IP address of the PM servers that are sending ICMP echo messages. This might require you to modify ACL/firewall configurations to allow ICMP traffic from the new IPs. Resolved - Our ISPs are continuing to work to ensure sufficient capacity and performance on their respective networks while proceeding with the completion of repairs to multiple subsea fiber systems. Over the past several weeks we have seen a reduced number of monitoring based alerts due to this ongoing issue, and therefore we will be closing out this incident alert. We will continue to monitor the situation and work closely with our ISPs to ensure optimal customer experience.

Identified - Multiple subsea cable cuts in the Red Sea were identified in early September 2025 which have had a tangible impact to transcontinental Internet traffic. This could potentially cause an impact for Cloud WAF and Network DDoS mitigation services.

This incident is to communicate awareness of the situation as the subsea cable cuts are outside of Thales control. Thales Network Operations continues to monitor the situation and is consulting with our partners to provide updates on the situation as they become available. We currently do not have an expected time frame for resolution.

If you experience an impact to your service, please engage Thales Support for further investigation to determine if it is related to this incident.
